Mark Scalera, AIF®, CPFA®, C(k)P® is the Managing Director at Pensionmark’s, New Jersey office. He has an extensive background in Corporate Retirement and Executive Compensation Plans, Employee Benefits and Investments. His clients include corporations, small businesses, Non-profits and Corporate Executives.

Mark has spent 41 years in the financial services business and has consulted on a range of projects for corporate acquisitions and divestitures, the federal employee retirement system (FERS), U.S. defense contractors, airlines, shipping companies, manufacturers, multi-national IT consulting firms along with For-profit and Not-for-Profit organizations. He began his career in 1981 with Prudential.

Mark is one of a select group of financial professionals in the nation to obtain the Certified 401(k) Professional designation, C(k)P®, through the Retirement Advisory University at UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education. His professional industry designations include Certified Plan Financial Advisor and Accredited Investment Fiduciary in addition to the Certified 401(k) Professional.

Since 2014, Mark has participated in four DC Fly-In Forums as a member of the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA). This is a by-invitation-only event which gathers the nation’s top Retirement Plan Consultants who meet with members of Congress to discuss important issues affecting Americans as they save for retirement.

Lauren is the Operations Manager at Pensionmark’s, New Jersey office. She has 12 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, specializing in Corporate Employee Benefits, and she previously spent 9 years in Human Resources within the Securities Industry. She is licensed in Accident & Health/Sickness Insurance; Life Insurance and has received certification in Human Resources Studies and Equal Employment Opportunity Studies through Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.

Lauren currently oversees operation of the Corporate Benefits side of our business, Benefitmark, providing clients with annual benefit renewal services, benefit analysis, employee enrollment education, benefits portal access, HR Compliance assistance, and she is an employer resource for routine and special benefit challenges.

Lauren also supports the Pensionmark side of our business assisting the Managing Principal with Retirement Plan client communication and education, plan committee meetings and administrative services for clients.
